Terms

The ground rules for using this site and for working with Timber Apparel Trading. We’ve kept them as plain as the rest of what we do.

Last updated October 2026

Who we are

Timber Apparel Trading Inc. makes private-label clothing and accessories for businesses. We don’t sell to consumers, hold stock or sell blanks: everything is made to order, under your label.

Quotes

Quotes are free and itemized. Each one says how long it holds, usually 30 days, because fabric prices move. A quote becomes an order only when you approve it and we confirm your purchase order in writing.

Samples and approvals

Sample fees are quoted before we start, and credited back against your first bulk order of that style. Bulk production is made to match the pre-production sample you approve: that sample and the written spec are the standard we inspect against.

Payment

Unless your order confirmation says otherwise, we take a 30% deposit by bank transfer to start production, and the 70% balance once you’ve seen the final inspection report, before the goods ship.

Delivery

We ship FOB or delivered duty paid (DDP), as your order confirmation says. Under FOB, the goods are yours, along with the risk, once they’re handed to your forwarder; under DDP, once they’re delivered to the address you gave us. The dates in a confirmation are our honest plan. If one moves, we tell you as soon as we know, and why.

Quality

Every order gets a final random inspection (AQL 2.5) before it ships, and you see the report before you pay the balance. If the inspection finds a problem, the goods don’t ship until it’s fixed, at no cost to you. If you find a problem when the goods arrive, tell us promptly, with photos, and we’ll work it out with you.

Your designs and trademarks

Your designs, patterns, tech packs and labels belong to you, and we keep them confidential. By sending them, you confirm that you have the right to use them, and the names, logos and artwork you ask us to put on your products.

Using this website

The words, drawings and design of this site belong to Timber Apparel Trading Inc. You’re welcome to link to it; please don’t copy it wholesale, or use it to suggest we endorse something we don’t.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when we confirm your order applies to that order.
