Made the careful way.

Timber Apparel Trading is a small sourcing and production team for brands that care how their clothes are made.

Making clothes at scale is mostly a game of details: a few millimeters on a sleeve, a fabric that shrinks more than it should, a carton marked the wrong way. Miss one and it turns up months later, in returns, reviews and margins.

We started Timber to look after those details for our customers. We place every style with a factory that already makes that kind of garment well, write everything down, check the work while it’s being made, and tell you the truth about cost and timing, even when it isn’t what you hoped to hear. We’d rather say no on day one than sorry on day sixty.

The name comes from a rule carpenters and tailors share: measure twice, cut once. Good timber is chosen with care, seasoned properly and cut with intent. We think clothes deserve the same.

What we believe

Specialists, not generalists

A factory that sews chore coats every day will always beat one making its first.

Straight talk

Honest quotes, realistic dates and early warnings. Bad news only gets more expensive with time.

Made to last

Fabric, seams and trims chosen to survive real wear, because clothes that last are the ones people buy again.

Who we are

A small team of production leads, product developers and quality inspectors who are happiest somewhere between a design studio and a factory floor. One of us owns each order from start to finish, so you’re never passed around.
